A job of a writer is to write. A writer’s purpose in writing is to communicate what they have written with their target audience, making sure that the information communicated by words and sentences and paragraphs is understood while meeting specific requirements for creative expression and technical feasibility.
A creative aspect of writing includes the author’s use of language such as metaphor, similes, and alliteration; the author’s use of dialogue and characterization. Whereas a technical aspect includes proper formatting, page layout, tone, point of view, sentence style/length/structure, etc.
